History - After the 2005 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival, a group of young filmmakers started a Google Group email listto stay connected. In 2006, they decided a web site might build a larger community. This web site opened in August, 2007. The developers of this site share, in general, the values of the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.
Goals - Christian Filmmakers.org is a place where Christians involved in filmmaking can connect and share their work. We believe a community of healthy communication will raise the level of dialog among us, bringing the best art and thinking forward. Together, we hope to make better films.
