Movies never come to Canada

Where do we find out if there is theater showing near us?

Great little trailer!  smile  Excellent work John-Clay, sums it up nicely.  Hope the film does well in theaters.

Where do I find theater info? I really want to see this film!

In case my family can’t come up with funds for movie tickets (money’s a little tight right now), any idea if TWM will be available for rental?

Maybe I could have figured it out if I’d watched all the BTS videos on Widow’s Might, but what role did you play in the making of TWM, Kyle? Also very curious, how did you guys get it in to theaters?

The film is being released digitally in 90 CARMIKE CINEMAS http://www.carmike.com
I believe most of their screens are located across the south and up the east coast,
through the mid-Atlantic area.

From what I know, someone who packages independent films for the Carmike chain
put the deal together.  John Moore and David Heustis output an uncompressed QT
file [ 1.5 TB which took 26hrs ] and sent it off to be converted to the DCI specs
[Digital Cinema Initiative] for the showings.  If they find this thread, I’m sure they
could explain the process in detail.

Just to clarify, I didn’t work on TWM.

You might consider picking it up for $9.95 at behemoth.com - http://behemoth.com/album/52779/. That would be more expensive than renting, but it’d also be less expensive than going to (most) theaters.

Sorry about that. Maybe it was the “we” in your post that threw me off.

Just say that they are only selling it on BlueRay… What is the thought process behind that? I think it is a bit early to be moving to BlueRay only release isn’t it?

Kyle runs christianfilmtrailers.com. I think that’s what he’s referring to with “we”.
