Yeah, here’s one I took when I tried it on over a t-shirt.

& the back -

I used McCall’s 4109.

I’ve never quite seen the point of corsets… they look painful when tightened.
But you did a good job! :D
Wow! Looks very nice. Thanks for the close-ups.
They’re actually quite comfortable, Carolyn, as long as you leave room for your internal organs.
Thanks ^^ It’s definitely not perfect, but as the first corset I’ve made, I’m pretty satisfied with it.
Here’s an ensemble I made to wear to the Ren. faire.

I made the hood, bodice, chemise, skirt, and bracers.
And here’s an overdress I made. My younger sister’s wearing it with a skirt I made in the first picture, and I’m wearing it with a chemise someone else made in the other two.

Oooo! I love them!
Especially the later one.
Oh, and the vanbraces are CUTE! (I have an obsession with vanbraces…
)
I have yet to find a pair of comfortable vambraces… (mine always slide down the arm and inhibit movement of my wrist besides chafing.)
Tie them tighter.
I don’t have any vambraces.
