If you have a “line” you refuse to cross, where is it?

Which is proof that the best actors actually do a lot more work than just sitting in the makeup trailer…

Yeah, I’ve been impressed with that fact in watching BTS, some of these guys/gals go to incredible lengths to “become” their character.  Determination!

Exactly.  Which is why it always amuses me when random people say “I can act.”  I just want to respond, “Really?  You can starve yourself for months, let leeches suck your blood, kick solid objects repeatedly until your toe breaks, spend months away from everyone you know and love, crawl through an insect-infested tunnel, let tarantulas crawl under every part of your clothing, and best of all, eat live beetles?  No?  You should stick with the Special Forces then.”  rolleyes

That’s not to say I could do any/all of those things… just sayin’...

I refer you back several pages to the words of Sir Laurence Olivier…

Cheers,

What’s up with the Special Forces crack?

My sister is dating a guy who’s Special Ops (he was a sniper-to-be but is not a paratrooper, I think ...), and I can say with total confidence that I doubt I would make it through even a fraction of what they have to do at boot camp, let alone the actual training and career! :o

(Or are Special Forces and Special Ops different? :? )
