Christian Filmmakers

I posted this in the events forum but haven’t received any feed back there so I thought I’d try this forum.  Please give me your feed back on whether or not you’d be interested in attending a photography camp in Colorado.

One of the things we at Norwood Christian Ranch feel led by the Lord to do is to provide training for aspiring Christian filmmakers.  We use our facility to host various filmmaking camps a couple times a year.  We bring in professionals from the industry to give a small group of students hands on training.

We’re considering hosting a photography camp the end of April.  It would be the same format as our Christian Filmmakers Camp: five days of hands on training by professional photographers, all food and lodging included.  Class size limited to 12 students so everyone will get one-on-one time with an instructor.

My question to you is, would you or someone you know be interested in such a camp.  Please comment even if you are not interested.  If there is no need for this kind of training we’ll focus our efforts elsewhere.  If you are interested please let me know what you’d like to see taught at such a camp.

I’m pleased to announce that we will be having a photography camp this year.  The dates are April 26-30.  Our instructors are Marty and Deb Minnard.  The Minards bring more than 50 years of combined professional photography experience to our camp.  Currently they run the Foto FX souvenir photo service at the Creation Museum.  In addition to those duties, Marty and Deb produce fine art images of the museum and it’s grounds for Answers in Genesis publications.
