Christian Filmmakers

Hi, I’m Sadie.  I’ve been acting in student & independent films for the last 9 years in Chicago.  I’m also an amateur screenwriter.  In terms of my career, I just recently decided to abandon the beaten path for the narrow path.  I want to thank the creators of Christianfilmmakers.org for offering a place where Christians in the biz can connect with each other.

I’m only going to be in Chicago until May and then I’m off to live in Phoenix for awhile.  If anyone has a project coming up (or currently running) in either of those 2 cities, let me know.  I’d love to help out!

Hi all, I apologize for not posting sooner but so far I haven’t even seen this thread LOL talk about one track mind, close to 60 posts in the SFX forum and none in the general.

Anyways, I am a 17 year old Reformed Baptist young man from Lancaster County PA, the greatest place on earth, bar none! :D I am the son of a pastor and I have 9 siblings, one of whom is married. I have worked in Custom cabinetry and Web design so far as well as doing 3D as a hobby, I also enjoy music, photography (photo blog athttp://firstwatch.blogspot.com, and Model RRing, of course in addition to film making. I have acted in 2 films as well as working on the screenplay for the last one and general crew stuff. I am currently being reminded of a very late shoot so I shall finsih this up and get to bed.

Hey there. I am Robin from the coldest place on earth. Seriously, it is really cold here. I am a mother of three kiddos, married 10 years. I recently decided life was passing me by because I was afraid to take a step forward so, among other things,  I went back to school and life has moving since then.

I am working on an undergraduate degree in communications with a film/media emphasis. I hope to complete my bachelor’s in about 2 years then I would like to work on my master’s. I am, however, open to whatever. I have learned that when I simply let go and follow that the path ahead is already beaten down.

I have had an opportunity in recent weeks to help on the crew of a couple professional shoots and have been asked to help shoot video for the theatre department at the school I attend. I also am on the creative arts team at the church I attend. So I get to create mini-doc’s weekly. (Helps me to learn just how much I still need to learn )

A friend and I are working on pre-production for the film contest here at Christian Film Makers.org and I am also collaborating with a couple other people on some treatments/scripts for a nooma-esqe type project that we hope to shoot this summer.

This forum is great. Thanks to all who work hard to make it run smoothly!

Haha yeah I did all the sound and music myself for that short. I had a good time doing that film there was alot of wierd things I hadn’t done before.

I would love to come down sometime. I will be shooting some shorts with a classmate of mine that lives up there later this year maybe we could stop by.

Thanks for sharing your shorts.  I liked them all, with my favority being Little Black Rain Cloud.  It made me laugh out loud, especially at the end.  :D

haha Thanks Sadie! Yeah I think the ending is pretty funny on that one as well. Took me days to edit all the rain cloud animations!! Hey your profile said you do tap! Thats pretty cool I always wanted to do that in highschool but Calc was the same period…yeah…long story… lol
Btw thats not my Youtube account so not all of those are mine. Only Life In A Box, Little Black Rain Cloud, and I helped out in All About Girls. Thats my Media Mentor’s account Luke…lol I haven’t figured out how to compress my stuff small enough yet so he threw those up for me. He aslo wanted to link to them. I hope to put some more shorts up soon though once I figure it out. I LIke this one alot and I think for the camera we use (lame one) it turned out fairly decent.
